Chimbu Ambai Bulim

This highlands bilum is commonly referred to as The Baby Bilum in Papua New Guinea. This style of bilum is used to carry babies, garden food, firewood and heavey loads.
The handles of Baby Bilums are left open so you can adjust the length of the bilum depending on the load. This bilum is one of a kind made from wool and acrylic yarn and is made to last. It is recommened that it is not exposed to too much water.
Bilums are an ancient weaving method practiced in Papua New Guinea and is passed down from generation to generation.
